Overseeding is the process of adding a bulk amount of grass seed to an existing lawn. This causes more and more grass to grow between the existing grass and thus creates a thick lawn that makes it very difficult for weeds to pop up because the thick grassroots weave themselves together creating a barrier. Overseeding is most effective when combined with core aeration, which plugs holes in your lawn for the grass seed to fall into.

We provide applications at regular intervals throughout the season depending on the number of applications signed up for. We offer up to 4 fertilizer applications each season. Signing up for a higher number of applications will mean you get visited earlier in the spring. We aim for visits every 6-8 weeks throughout the season. However, this does vary depending on the weather and the number of scheduled applications.

Leaf clean-up should be done in both the spring and fall in order to allow for necessary sunlight, nutrients, and water to get to the lawn. Leaves and debris that are not cleaned up will get matted down and may pose a threat to the growth of the grass. Leaf clean-up service consists of removing all leaves and debris from landscape beds and window wells and mowing and bagging of the leaves. All debris is hauled away from the property.
